The Jewish Funders Network

The Jewish Funders Network

The Jewish Funders Network's mission is to work with Jewish funders, at the individual and collective levels, to improve the quality of their giving and maximize their impact as they make the change they want to see in the world.

In 2014 Genesis Philanthropy Group supported the Jewish Funders Network in undertaking a planning grant to assess the potential to increase Jewish Philanthropy among Russian-speaking Jews in the United States.

Through the 2014, JFN analyzed several tools to grow philanthropy in the Russian-speaking Jewish community. In 2015 JFN launched a culturally-sensitive program to engage North American Russian-speaking Jewish funders in independent Jewish philanthropy. A series of informational sessions will be organized to engage and educate the target audience. In addition, Russian-speaking philanthropists will be recruited to attend international philanthropist conference in San Diego in 2016.

Goals and Objectives

  • Increase Jewish philanthropy among individuals and teenagers in the Russian-speaking Jewish community.
  • Develop and instill a sense of Jewish identity among Russian-speaking Jews through the creation of a community dedicated to preserving Jewish values.
