School of Volunteers
The project is aimed at organizing a series of charitable and volunteering projects and activities.

They will be prepared by students for various target audiences during the year, through the establishment of schools for professional development of volunteers.

This grant is a part of "Volunteering. Community. Tkikun Olam" competition, organized by Genesis Philanthropy Group and UJA-Federation of New York.

The goal of the competition is to connect unaffiliated Jewish youth and young Jewish adults who are interested in resolving social issues and volunteering in the Jewish community, as well as to strengthen the Jewish community by engaging its members in volunteering.

Goals and Objectives

  • Create a group of active students (25-30 people) who want to "change the world for the better" through the implementation of their own volunteering projects being a part of the Jewish community.
  • Motivate and train a group of students on the basic aspects of volunteering activities and its practical skills and necessary tools for organizing and implementing their own projects.
  • Divide the group in accordance with students' preferences and interests in which projects they would like to be involved.
